    16th Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Games set for September 9

    The 16th edition of the Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Games is set to take place on Saturday, September 9 at the Ghana Armed Forces Sports Complex under the theme, “Beyond the rivalry, uniting through sports.”

    The event that brings together old boys of Mfantsipim School and Adisadel College returns after a five year break and former students of the prestigious institutions will compete in basketball, football, tennis and table tennis.

    Speaking exclusively to Citi Sports, members of the Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Games committee highlighted the importance of bring the event back.

    “We are taking it a notch higher. Our main objective is to make sure that these two wonderful schools are coming together through sports to make sure we bond together, network but the most important priority is to give back to the school so Mfantsipim, ours is to build an ultra-modern sports complex and Adisadel’s is to do a solar project” Joseph Dadson said in the presence of Raphael Agbenaza.

    On the part of Adisadel College, David Jabez Cobinna stated, “We are winning the table tennis, tennis and football possibly we leave the basketball (event) to them so out of the four disciplines, we are whipping them and that will be 3-1. Come and fraternize with such a strong bond of the SANTA (Adisadel)-MOBA (Mfantsipim) group and let’s make our schools proud.”
