    Coronavirus Update: Final year students in all levels to go back to School

    Students in their final year thus, Junior High Schools (J.H.S), Senior High Schools (S.H.S) and the universities have been cleared to go back to school, to study and take their final exams.

    This was announced by the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has he addressed the country for the tenth time since Ghana recorded coronavirus cases on measures the country is putting in place to contain the virus.

    Final year students in the universities are expected to go  to school on 15th June, 2020 while SHS final year students will resume on 22nd June, 2020 and 29th June, 2020 for the JHS final year students.

    “From Monday 15th June the decision has been taken after engagement with Teacher Unions whose co-operation I salute to reopen schools and universities to allow for final year students, junior high, senior high and university students to resumes classes ahead of the conduct of their respective exit examinations. Indeed final year university students are to report on their universities on 15th June, final year Senior High School (SHS 3) students together with SHS 2 Gold Track students on 22nd June and final year Junior High School (JHS 3) students on 29th June’’ – The President stated in his address.
