    Meet Abena Safo Kantanka, the Ghanaian university graduate who decided to go into farming after graduation.

    Abena Safo Kantanka graduated from the African University College of Communications (A.U.C.C) in 2017 with a degree in Development Communications after which she decided to pursue her dream profession as a farmer.

    Back in school, Abena always talked about owning a big farm like her dad where she could also make a difference by providing food stuffs that are healthy for human consumption and at an affordable prices.

    “My dad has been my motivation for farming and I love nature, nature is beautiful and it’s not expensive. The desire to eat your own food means growing your own food and I want to eat my own food” she stated.

    Abena is currently following her dreams as she has joined her dad in the farm.

    “Farming for my own food is a better way to reduce the risk of sickness that are linked to unhealthy food products and I intend to farm as long as I live” she added.

    In advising the youth, Abena advocated for everyone to follow their passion and do what makes them happy.
