Accra Hearts of Oak stretched their unbeaten streak to five with a goalless draw against Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf in Accra.

The Phobians’ point propelled them up to ninth place in the league table, while Dreams FC, who have yet to win a game this season, remained at the bottom three.

Kotoko returned to action this week, facing defending Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex 1996 at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

A first-half strike by Albert Amoah was enough to give the Porcupine Warriors all three points against a difficult opponent.

Asante Kotoko stayed second with 14 points, a point behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars, who won their encounter against Aduana Stars 2-0.

Another unbeaten side in the league, Berekum Chelsea, recorded the biggest win of the week after edging Legon Cities 3-1 at the Golden City Park.

Stephen Amankona, Hubert Gyau, and Emmanuel Sarpong were on target for the Blues, while Suraje Yusif’s goal for Legon Cities was only a consolation.

Osah Bernadinho Tetteh scored the only goal for Medeama SC as they defeated Nations FC at the TNA Stadium.

Below are the results for week 7:

Asante Kotoko 1-0 FC Samartex 1996

    Berekum Chelsea 3-1 Legon Cities

Gold Stars FC 2-0 Aduana Stars

Dreams FC 0-0 Hearts of Oak

Karela United 1-0 Heart of Lions

Nsoatreman FC 2-0 Basake Holy Stars
