    Businessman and philanthropist Kennedy Agyapong, popularly known as “Kenpong,” has reportedly been involved in a road accident along the Accra–Winneba road on August 8, 2025.

    According to Max Online, details about the cause of the crash and any injuries remain unclear. The news outlet shared the report on Sunday, August 10, prompting an outpouring of concern from Ghanaians online.

    Kenpong, a close friend of Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, is the CEO and President of the Kenpong Group of Companies, with interests spanning telecom engineering, sports, construction, communications, and travel and tourism.

    His ventures include Kenpong Travel and Tour, Icegold Mineral Water, and the Kenpong Football Academy.

    Social media users have flooded the comments section with messages of support. “I wish Kenpong a speedy recovery. May God protect and heal him quickly,” one wrote.
