She assured that the media conglomerate will offer its platforms to further project the works of the company.
“We have a Corporate Social Responsibility arm which is the 3 Foundation, which is coming up very well. Our platform is also very strong with news. I will love that we do African Print week-on-week, weekdays because we serve a wider audience, we do formal on weekdays and then weekend we do GTP. We have done it since the inception of the company.

So yes, we are in for business. We are hoping that it will get better. GTP has been on Ghana’s Most Beautiful since its inception and we are looking at other beauty pageants, I know you will partner with us,” she said.

Madam Agyemang further stated on the heels of the determination of GTP to go global with their products that “Thankfully, we have a very strong online presence, almost all our reality programmes are streamed and if you programme is streamed, and it is global.

“We can better integrate the stories well so that GTP is very strong in Ghana, so that everybody knows it is the most quality brand.”

For her part, Fatoumata Doro, Managing Director, Vlisco Ghana (Tex Styles Ghana Limited, producers of GTP and Woodin and marketers of Vlisco) since September 2021, indicated that the company was determined to work with an influential media platform in order to project its works hence, the decision to renew the pact with TV3.

“TV3 is one of the biggest platforms we have in Ghana, so if you are a brand like GTP which is well known in Ghana and it is respected, you must partner with the big one and TV3 gives us that platform.

“We want people, women especially, to see our brand and support the Ghanaian heritage and the African culture and provide premium products for the consumer, that is why we are with TV3.

“Our expectation, first of all, is to have a successful season of Ghana’s Most Beautiful. We hope to see all those amazing ladies dressed in GPT and showing the beauty of our culture.”

General Manager of TV3, Mr Francis Doku expressed optimism that both companies will benefit from the mutual agreement.

“It means a lot for us to have this continuous partnership with one of the biggest brands in the market especially when it comes to fabric and fashion.

“GTP is a typical successful Ghanaian brand, we have been partnering with them for a long time and they have worked with us for a long time, over a decade and a half.

We are very happy that we continue to work with them especially when they come on one of the biggest shows on television, that is Ghana‘s Most Beautiful.”
