The Reverend Kennedy Okosun, Executive Chairman of KRIF Ghana Limited, has been commended by Tema-Based Industrialist and civil rights advocate Dr William Mensah-Ansah for years of relentless and selfless anti-corruption advocacy.

Dr Mensah-Ansah said fighting corruption demanded a collective effort, requiring everyone to be vigilant and actively involved, not just governments or specific groups, but all citizens, businesses, and organizations

He noted, “Consistently, Rev. Okosun has used various platforms, both through social, academic, religious, business, and other stakeholder engagement, to trumpet the need for collective action against corruption.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Dr Mensah-Ansah noted: “Rev Okosun, through KRIF Ghana Limited, continues to stand against corruption and corrupt practices and recently launched public sensitization among the youth on corruption; this deserves commendation.”

Dr Mensah-Ansah noted that the recent United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) working document on the title “The role of citizens in fighting corruption” aligns with the active role in the fight against corruption embarked on by Rev. Okosun. He explained that a UNODC document, indicated that citizen participation in relation to anti-corruption efforts encompassed dynamics and approaches that may differ from citizen participation in other public processes.

He stressed that the role of citizens was better understood in terms of social accountability, where the citizens oppose corruption by keeping it in check, critically assessing the conduct and decisions of officeholders, reporting corruption misdoings and crimes, and asking for appropriate countermeasures. Dr. Mensah-Ansah also acknowledged Rev. Okosun’s exceptional leadership and contributions to the industry.

Dr. Mensah-Ansah, added that Rev. Okosun’s visionary leadership has been instrumental in driving the company’s success.  He highlighted KRIF Ghana Limited’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. “This commendation is a testament to Rev. Okosun’s dedication to excellence and his company’s positive impact on the community.

“As Executive Chairman of KRIF Ghana Limited, Rev. Okosun has demonstrated a passion for innovation, customer satisfaction, and social responsibility,” Dr Mensah-Ansah noted. Dr. Mensah-Ansah also underscored the importance of acknowledging and appreciating outstanding leadership and contributions in the industry.  He noted “As KRIF Ghana Limited continues to grow and thrive, Rev. Okosun’s leadership will undoubtedly remain a driving force behind the company’s success.”
