The Ghana Football Association has unveiled the official schedule for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season, which is set to kick off between September 4 and 7, 2026.
According to the FA, the campaign will run until the weekend of May 28 to 31, 2027, in line with its approved football calendar. Matches will primarily be played on weekends, with midweek slots reserved for outstanding fixtures to keep the season on schedule.
The Association noted that releasing the calendar early allows clubs, players, and stakeholders to better prepare for the upcoming season.
It also reiterated its commitment to ensuring a smooth and well-organised competition, as part of ongoing efforts to improve the structure of domestic football and address fixture congestion experienced in previous seasons.
The announcement provides clarity and direction for all stakeholders as preparations begin for the new league campaign.
