The Ghana Library Authority (GhLA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alhassan Betintiche Ziblim as its new Acting Executive Director.
GhLA is poised to intensify its efforts to promote literacy and digital inclusion across the nation through its public library network, so this appointment comes at a strategic time. Mr. Ziblim brings over two decades of experience in Public Sector Administration, strategic management, banking, marketing, and finance to GhLA.
He previously held the position of Director of Administration at the Ghana Free Zones Authority, where he managed a fully operational administrative department for more than a decade. From October 2017 to January 2025, he also served as secretary to the Finance and Administration Sub-Committee of the Ghana Free Zones Authority Governing Board of Directors.
As Acting Executive Director, Mr. Ziblim aims to adopt strategic innovations for local and international partnerships aimed at revamping the public library network to become modern, inclusive, and resourceful.
Mr. Ziblim holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (Finance option) and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants Ghana. He is married and blessed with four (4) children.
