Apostle Samuel Otu Appiah, Goaso Area Head of the Church of Pentecost has implored Ghanaians to work hard to build a prosperous and attractive country.

He said the Almighty God has been gracious and merciful to the nation and its people, stating, “All we need to do now, is to work hard to maintain excellent standards in our endeavors in nation-building.” Apostle Otu Appiah gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.

He said after a successful and peaceful elections, transition and swearing in of leadership, the stage was now set for all hands to be on deck, to prosecute the national development agenda, to the best of our ability. “We should strive to give off our best, in all fields of our endeavors,” he stated.

Apostle Otu Appiah said, “When parents and children uphold and demonstrate the virtues of discipline, hard work, truthfulness, patriotism and excellence, from the home, through the school, church, workplace and the larger society, the cumulative effect could bring greater transformation to the nation and its people.”

The Area Head further stated that with hard work for excellence, Ghana could also be a haven, where people across the world would troop in to better their lots, as it happens in the USA, and the Western world.

“Let’s work hard to build a prosperous and peaceful society which would be a preferred destination in the comity of nations. We only need to always seek the face of God, trust and obey, and we shall surely get there,” he said. Apostle Otu Appiah reminded the Ghanaian media of the crucial role expected of them to achieve this national feat, and said they dare not fail.
