    Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

    Let fans use your track in their videos & challenges
    You’ve recorded a banger. You’ve made a visualizer or even dropped a music video. Now what?
    If your song isn’t available on TikTok, you’re missing out on thousands of potential fans, virality, and visibility.
    Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get your song on TikTok so people can use it as a sound when creating content:

    OPTION 1: Upload Your Song Through a Music Distributor
    This is the most professional way to get your song on TikTok and other platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and Boomplay.
    ✅ Distributors that send your song to TikTok:
    * DistroKid
    * TuneCore
    * Boomplay for Artists
    * Ditto Music
    * Amuse
    * Audiomack for Creators (connects to TikTok via SoundOn in some cases)
    🧠 Most Ghanaian artists use DistroKid, Boomplay, or TuneCore.
    Steps:
    1. Create an account on your preferred distributor.
    2. Upload your song (MP3 or WAV).
    3. Fill in your song details (title, artist name, cover art).
    4. On the delivery options, make sure TikTok is selected.
    5. Submit and wait 3–5 days.
    Your track will now appear as an official sound when anyone searches on TikTok.

    OPTION 2: Use TikTok’s Own Tool — SoundOn
    TikTok launched SoundOn, its official music distribution platform, that directly puts your music into the TikTok library.
    Why it’s dope:
    * 100% royalties for the first year
    * Your music is available on TikTok, CapCut, Apple, Spotify, and more
    * You don’t need a middleman
    Steps:
    1. Visit soundon.global
    2. Sign up as an artist
    3. Upload your song + artwork
    4. Wait for approval
    🎯 This works great for independent Ghanaian artists with no distributor yet.

    OPTION 3: Manually Add It as Your Own Sound
    Let’s say your song isn’t on TikTok yet — you can still add it manually by uploading a video with your track playing.
    Steps:
    1. Open TikTok and tap the “+” to create a new video.
    2. Play your song in the background while filming (or add the track in post-edit using CapCut).
    3. After posting, TikTok will label the audio as “Original sound – [Your Username]”.
    4. You can rename this sound by tapping the spinning disc icon and choosing “Edit sound title”.
    🎯 Fans can now click your sound and use it — even if it’s not the official version yet

    Bonus Tip: Add Your Song to CapCut
    CapCut is TikTok’s official editing app.
Once your song is in CapCut’s music library, creators can edit with your sound and then post to TikTok directly.
    To do this:
    * Use SoundOn or DistroKid to distribute to TikTok and CapCut
    * Or upload your song as background in a CapCut template you create
