Joy FM is set to celebrate mothers with a specially curated outdoor event dubbed Mummy’s Day Out on May 9, designed to offer a refreshing mix of relaxation, adventure, and entertainment.
The event will take place at Crown Forest, where participants can enjoy a variety of activities ranging from paddle boating and horseback riding to quad biking. Guests will also embark on a safari-style experience, including an encounter with the well-known Ogyafokwa crocodile, regarded as a symbolic guardian.
Beyond the outdoor experiences, attendees can look forward to interactive games and competitions with prizes, a selection of local cuisine, and beverages. Live performances by Adwenkoro Band will provide entertainment throughout the day.
Organisers say the initiative goes beyond leisure, serving as a thoughtful way to recognise and celebrate the role of mothers in society while offering them a well-deserved break.
Participation packages are priced at GH₵800 for individuals and GH₵1,500 for couples, with bookings available via mobile money. The event is part of Joy FM’s broader effort to engage its audience through memorable, community-focused experiences.
