Accra turned all the way up last night as Ghanaian rap star Kwesi Arthur celebrated the release of his latest project Redemption Valley with a massive block party at the iconic Republic Bar & Grill in Osu.
The event, held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, was a complete blast from start to finish. KAK MEDIA was on the ground to capture every moment, and the vibes were nothing short of electric.
Kwesi Arthur did not come to play. The “Fefe Ne Fe” hitmaker took the stage and performed every single song from the 8-track project (released February 6, 2026). Fans sang along word for word, proving that Redemption Valley is already connecting deeply with the streets.
The highlight of the night? When the DJ dropped “Immigrant” the crowd went absolutely wild! It quickly emerged as the people’s favourite, with non-stop energy, screams, and hands in the air throughout the track.
The block party pulled major industry heavyweights who came through to show love:
- Joey B
- Shaker
- And several top players from the Ghana music scene
Celebrities spotted in the building included Kwadwo Sheldon, Fella Makafui, and many more. The turnout showed just how much respect and love Kwesi Arthur commands in the game right now.
Free entry, real music, and pure Osu nightlife energy made the night unforgettable. Republic Bar & Grill once again proved why it remains one of Accra’s favourite cultural hubs for big artist moments.
In a heartfelt post shared shortly after the event, Kwesi Arthur thanked Accra for showing up:
“Accra, thank you for celebrating Redemption Valley with me we have more exciting stuff ahead for you #RedemptionValley”
The project is still available on all major streaming platforms go stream, buy, and live it!
From the surprise announcement to the successful block party, Kwesi Arthur is clearly in his bag with this era. The energy, the performances, and the fan connection signal that Redemption Valley is more than just music it’s a statement.
KAK MEDIA was right there in the thick of it, and one thing is clear: the switch remains klaaaaazy.
