The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced a reduction in fuel margins from seventeen pesewas (17p) to nine pesewas (9p).
The decision was made at a meeting held today between the Energy Minister, National Petroleum Authority (NPA), the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMCs), Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Co Ltd BOST), the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) and the Institute of Energy Policies and Research (INSTEPR).
In a press release cited by myghanadaily.com, the authority has announced that the changes take effect on Wednesday, 5th May 2021.
The decision was agreed upon and signed by all parties involved.
