Ghana-based tech firm Npontu Technologies Limited has named Professor Noel Tagoe as a member of its Board, in a move aimed at reinforcing its governance structure and supporting its growth across Africa’s digital economy.

The appointment reflects the company’s strategy to match its expanding footprint with strong leadership at the board level. Having built a solid reputation through innovations like its AI-powered enterprise solutions, Npontu is now focused on strengthening its institutional capacity as it scales operations across fintech, enterprise software, and digital infrastructure.

Prof. Tagoe brings decades of experience spanning financial strategy, digital transformation, and corporate governance. His expertise is expected to play a key role in guiding the company’s long-term expansion and positioning within Africa’s evolving tech ecosystem.

Currently the founding Dean of Nile Business School at Nile University of Nigeria, he has also held academic and advisory roles at globally recognised institutions, while contributing to research and policy discussions on the future of finance and digital transformation.

His appointment signals Npontu’s intent to combine technical innovation with strong governance as it advances its mission of building scalable, Africa-focused digital solutions.
