Head coach Otto Addo has named a 26-man squad for Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany, handing first-time call-ups to Derrick Luckassen, Patrick Pfeiffer, Marvin Senaya, and Daniel Agyei.

The four new entrants join the Ghana national football team as part of preparations for the FIFA World Cup, bringing fresh energy and depth to the squad.

Luckassen, a centre-back currently with Pafos FC, has a wealth of European experience, having featured for clubs including PSV and Anderlecht. Marvin Senaya, who plays in France for AJ Auxerre, continues his steady rise since making his professional debut in 2021.

Forward Daniel Agyei, now with Kocaelispor, previously played in England before moving to Turkey, while defender Patrick Pfeiffer represents SV Darmstadt 98 in Germany’s second tier.

The squad also sees the return of key players including Inaki Williams, Thomas Partey, Ibrahim Sulemana, and Alexander Djiku.

Ghana will face Austria in Vienna on March 27 before taking on Germany in Stuttgart on March 30, as part of their build-up to upcoming international competitions.
