Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has unveiled fresh initiatives through the Asamoah Gyan Foundation aimed at identifying and developing young football talents across the country.
The foundation plans to roll out several youth-focused programmes, including football academy projects and a nationwide tournament intended to scout promising players and support their growth.
Speaking on Channel One TV’s World Cup Central, the foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Anim Addo, encouraged parents with talented children interested in football to connect with the foundation at an early stage to aid proper development.
According to him, the foundation will soon embark on a trip and, upon return, officially launch a major project titled The Art of Goal Scoring.
He further disclosed that academy projects being developed in collaboration with partners would also be unveiled, alongside a football tournament expected to take place after the upcoming World Cup.
Anim Addo stressed that the foundation remains committed to youth empowerment and football development, adding that Asamoah Gyan continues to inspire younger generations through his dedication to giving back to Ghanaian football.
The initiative is expected to provide structured training opportunities for young players while helping to nurture the next generation of football stars in Ghana.
