Ghanaian musician and cultural advocate Feli Nuna has shared her perspective on the evolving music landscape in Ghana while highlighting her creative initiative, STTART (Speaking Through The ART), during an appearance on 3Lounge hosted by AJ Sarpong.

The discussion took place during a live broadcast of the show at the Media General Ghana Village on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

During the conversation, Feli Nuna commended the new generation of Ghanaian musicians for their creativity and bold approach to music. She noted that emerging artistes are experimenting with new sounds and sharing authentic stories through their work, which she said inspired the creation of her STTART initiative.

The STTART (Speaking Through The ART) project is a Ghanaian creative movement powered by OSDA aimed at providing young talents with opportunities to develop their skills and showcase their work both locally and internationally.

According to Feli Nuna, the initiative offers training, mentorship and exposure across multiple creative fields, including visual art, animation, music production, photography, videography and graphic design.

She revealed that the project has adopted the theme Year of Her (YOH) for 2026, a campaign designed to empower women in the arts. The initiative seeks to amplify female voices, provide mentorship and resources, and celebrate the contributions of women within Ghana’s creative industry.

Feli Nuna also highlighted challenges faced by women in the industry, stressing the need for more support and opportunities. Through the STTART project, she said efforts are being made to nurture female talent, secure grants and funding, and encourage conversations on how to advance women’s careers in the creative space.

The musician also announced the release of her new album titled FYIA (For Your Immediate Attention), a 14-track project that features several artistes connected to the STTART initiative. She encouraged music lovers to stream the album as part of efforts to promote and support Ghanaian music.
