The Ghana High Commission to the United Kingdom and Ireland has announced the upcoming Ghana–UK Investment Summit 2026.
The two-day forum is scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 2, 2026, at Raffles London under the theme “Restoring Investor Confidence to Unlock Opportunities and Shared Prosperity.”
The summit will convene government officials, international investors, industry leaders, and development finance institutions to deepen economic cooperation, build strategic partnerships, and explore investment opportunities between Ghana and the United Kingdom.
John Dramani Mahama is expected to deliver the keynote address, highlighting his administration’s Reset Agenda, which prioritises transparency, fiscal discipline, economic resilience, and stronger collaboration with global investors.
Participants will engage in bilateral meetings, sector-focused investment roundtables, and direct interactions with senior government officials.
The summit will showcase opportunities across key sectors including agribusiness, trade and infrastructure financing, real estate, fintech and digital innovation, energy and green transition, as well as critical minerals and carbon markets.
The event is being organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, with support from partners such as the British High Commission in Accra, the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, and Invest Africa.
Ahead of the summit, President Mahama will also participate in a diaspora town hall meeting on May 31, hosted by Ghana’s High Commissioner to the UK and Ireland, Sabah Zita Benson, offering Ghanaians in the diaspora an opportunity to engage directly with him on national development and investment priorities.
