President John Dramani Mahama is set to begin a nationwide tour from March 18 to assess the progress of ongoing government projects and engage directly with citizens.

The initiative, dubbed the “Resetting Ghana Tour,” is designed to bring government closer to the people, strengthen grassroots engagement, and provide updates on key policies and development programmes.

The tour will kick off in the Bono Region and will involve regional ministers, local government officials, and other stakeholders.

According to Minister of Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the exercise will allow the President to personally inspect project sites and interact with community leaders, including chiefs and opinion leaders.

He explained that the President believes direct engagement is essential, noting that the tour will enable him to lead efforts to evaluate development initiatives firsthand while fostering closer ties between government and citizens.
