The Jospong Group of Companies has once again demonstrated its commitment to community support by presenting food items and a cash donation to Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu during the Eid celebrations.
The donation, made at the Chief Imam’s residence, is part of the Group’s long-standing tradition of supporting the Muslim community during the festive period.
Speaking on behalf of the company, Emma Adwoa Appiaa Osei-Duah of Zoomlion Ghana Limited said the gesture reflects the Group’s appreciation for the Chief Imam’s dedication to promoting peace and unity, particularly during Ramadan.
She noted that the items were presented to be shared with the broader Muslim community, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and celebration.
She also disclosed that the visit coincided with the birthday of the Group’s Executive Chairman, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, for whom special prayers were offered by the Chief Imam.
Receiving the donation on his behalf, Alhaji Abdul Latif expressed deep appreciation for the Group’s consistent support, describing it as a gesture that has spanned more than two decades.
He further highlighted Ghana’s strong culture of religious harmony, noting the peaceful coexistence and unity between Christians and Muslims.
The donation reflects the Jospong Group’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, interfaith cooperation, and national development.
