Joy Prime has announced auditions for the fifth season of its popular children’s cooking reality show, Big Chef Junior, inviting young culinary talents across Ghana to apply before the March 27, 2026 deadline.
The upcoming season promises to be even more exciting, continuing the show’s mission to showcase children who express creativity, confidence, and culture through food.
Children aged between eight and twelve who have a passion for cooking can audition by submitting a one-minute video of themselves preparing their favourite meal via WhatsApp.
Organisers say the competition is not only about discovering talent but also about helping children build confidence, learn essential life skills, and express themselves creatively in the kitchen. Parents are encouraged to support their children throughout the process.
They added that perfection is not required, but participants must demonstrate enthusiasm, personality, and a willingness to learn.
Following the submission deadline, selected applicants will move on to the next stage of the competition. Over the years, Big Chef Junior has become one of Ghana’s most loved children’s reality shows, providing a platform for young chefs to shine and transform simple ingredients into impressive dishes.
