The Canada Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has congratulated former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his decisive victory in the Party’s presidential candidate election, describing the outcome as a clear endorsement of his leadership and vision for Ghana.

In a congratulatory statement, the Branch said the victory reflects the confidence party members have in Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to innovation, inclusiveness and economic transformation. According to the statement, his message continues to resonate strongly with party faithful both in Ghana and across the diaspora.

The NPP Canada Branch also commended the other contenders in the race—Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum and Kwabena Agyei-Agyepong—for their dedication and spirited campaigns. The Branch noted that their participation strengthened internal democracy within the Party and highlighted the depth of leadership available to the NPP.
