VIP Jeoun Transport has announced a nationwide increase in transport fares, with the new rates taking effect on Wednesday, April 8, citing rising operational costs.

The revised pricing applies to both standard and executive coach services across major routes from Accra to key destinations.

Under the new fares, passengers travelling on standard buses will pay GH¢120 to Kumasi, GH¢170 to Sunyani, and GH¢290 to Tamale. Northern routes have also seen adjustments, with fares set at GH¢330 to Bolgatanga and GH¢320 to Wa.

Executive coach passengers will now pay GH¢150 to Kumasi, GH¢200 to Sunyani, and GH¢360 to Tamale.

For longer journeys, fares from Accra to Navrongo and Bawku have been increased to GH¢420 and GH¢430 respectively.

Intercity fares from Kumasi have also been revised, with trips to Tamale now costing GH¢210 and to Bolgatanga GH¢250.

The company stated that the updated fare structure has received management approval and will be implemented across all routes.
