    Shatta Wale launches ride hailing app, Shaxi

    Reggae/dancehall artist, Shatta Wale , has launched his own ride hailing servicen called Shaxi.

    He revealed that ‘Shaxi,’ short for Shatta Taxi, is part of his efforts to provide jobs for some of the youths in various communities.

    Taking to Twitter, the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker wrote, “Shatta Movement fans are going to be employed. The youth are going to be employed, the street [boys]are going to be employed, yes we all can play a role in reducing the unemployment rate. It’s coming #SHAXI.”

    Shatta Wale urged those interested in joining the service to prepare to apply for jobs in his new company in a tweet.

    The ‘My Level’ hitmaker assured that the drivers who work for his company will “enjoy” their work.

    Shatta Wale stated that the new initiative, which he believes is revolutionary, will help every driver earn more money as they deserve to.

    “To all my drivers always complaining about being cheated on, don’t worry, I get good news for y’all. You are about to enjoy your work as drivers. SHAXI gotcha covered, it’s taking us time to get everything right. And finally we are ready,” he wrote.
