    Grozzy Swish crowned Connect FM Community Street Rap Battle V winner

    After seven weeks of exciting rap performances, the Connect FM Community Street Rap Battle Season V came to an end over the weekend with the crowning of a new rap king, Grozzy Swish.

    The Grand Finale, which was held at Komfo-Ase, a suburb of Sekondi, on Saturday, November 12, saw the eight finalists taking turns to show their lyrical prowess.

    They are Kwesi Flame, Awaga, Qwesi Juice, Grozzy Swish, AK Swanzy and Nana Chapta.

    After 3 rounds of absolute entertainment, Grozzy Swish was crowned the new King of Rap Music in the Western Region.

    He received a cash prize, a plaque, a certificate of honor, a citation and a recording and promotion deal on all Media General platforms worth GH¢150,000 and an all-expense paid trip to Dubai.

    Nana Chapta and Awaga were crowned 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.

    They also received a certificate of honor, a citation and a recording each and promotion deal on all Media General platforms worth GH¢120,000 and GH¢100,000 respectively.

    The night also saw performances from Kweku Bany, Semenhyia, Kobby Brain, and many more.

    Sponsors of The Connect FM Community Street Rap Battle are; Connect FM 97.1MHz, Takoradi, and received sponsorship from Ebony Condoms, Care Front Travel and Tour, OPK Hands free and KFC.
