    Sarah Nanewortor wins 2024 Mama Gali Pageant

    In a historic moment for Adrume, 21-year-old Sarah Nanewortor claimed victory in the 2024 Mama Gali Beauty Pageant, marking the first time the community has won since the competition began.

    Ms Nanewortor was among six contestants who competed after undergoing months of preparation and grooming.

    In a historic moment for Adrume, 21-year-old Sarah Nanewortor claimed victory in the 2024 Mama Gali Beauty Pageant, marking the first time the community has won since the competition began.

    Ms  Nanewortor was among six contestants who competed after undergoing months of preparation and grooming.

    As the 2024 Mama Gali, she walked away with GHC 3,000 and various other prizes.The first runner-up Agbenyega Abigail 19 yeas from Gbegbekorfe received GHC 2,000, while the second runner-up Dartey Susana Mazi from Ehiga  took home GHC 1,000.

    The judges, impressed by the contestants’ performances, said they had a difficult task selecting the winner.

    “I hope they take this experience further and pursue opportunities on national and international platforms like Miss Ghana.”

    Madam Emma Alevi, the organizer of the Mama Gali Beauty Pageant, praised Miss Nanewortor for her dedication and noted that she stood out for her politeness, determination, and exceptional performance throughout the event.

    She wished all contestants success in their future endeavors.

    The competition featured several categories, including a talent show, creativity displays, project presentations, and a Q&A session.

    Miss Nanewortor also won the Best Performance Award of the night from the judges.

    The event drew thousands of attendees, including prominent figures like the Paramount Chief of Weta Traditional Council, Torgbui Akpo Ashiakpor VI, Torgbui Dzeble Adukpo IV of Ehi, and other chiefs and queen mothers from the region.
