Chief Imam congratulates IGP on his appointment

Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, National Chief Imam, has congratulated Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Inspector General of Police (IGP) on his elevation as the IGP.

He has also advised members of the Police Management Board (POMAB) to support the IGP in maintaining law and order.

This was when the IGP together with some members of POMAB paid a courtesy call on him.

Sheikh Sharubutu pledged his support to Ghana’s peace building efforts.

Mr Yohuno thanked the Chief Imam for his continuous prayers for the peace and stability of the nation.

He assured the Chief Imam that would work together with management as well as all personnel to bring policing to the doorsteps of the citizenry.
