Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Robert Ahomka-Lindsay has announced that he is going into a 14-day precautionary self-isolation at home in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
He made this known in a Facebook post on his page on Thursday, July 2020.

According to the Minister, he made the decision because he has not been feeling “too well” for some days now.
“Over the past few days I have not been feeling too well, so from today 23rd July 2020, I am taking a fourteen (14) day precautionary self-isolation at home in compliance with Covid-19 protocols,” he posted on his Facebook wall.

Several Ministers including the Health Minister and Members of Parliament have gone into quarantine in the past weeks as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Ministers who have by far recovered have resumed their normal work activities at the parliament house of Ghana.
President Akuffo-Addo only ended his self-quarantine early this week after taking the precautionary measure after a person in his close circle tested positive for the virus.

President Akuffo-Addo continues to advise Ghanaians to stay safe by adhering to protocols lain out to protect themselves from the deadly virus.
