In a joint statement released by the management of the two organisations, it indicates that the schools will have to adhere to the guidelines below before allowing the 2nd year Gold track system students go home.

“Any school that had a positive case but has not reported any new positive case within the last two weeks, the students can vacate and go home.”

“Any school that had a positive case within the last two weeks, all contacts within the gold track will have their vacation delayed for assessment and observation before they can be allowed to go on vacation and parents is of such students will be notified.”

They further expressed their appreciation to the staff of the GES and the GHS for their commitment, dedication and sacrifices in the interest of the students, and also expressed thanks to the government for it’s support, especially the H.E the President.

They further urged the general public and parents to continue praying for the final year students to successfully complete their final year examinations.
