    ECG: Power cuts in Accra begins today

    Residents of the North-Eastern part of the capital, Accra are expected to experience power cuts effective today, Monday, May 10, 2021.

    A statement by the State-power distributor said the power cut is necessary to enable its contractors to undertake some works to improve the power supply in Accra.

    According to the ECG, power will be interrupted between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, as well as 6:00 pm and 6:00, am within the scheduled period. This will occur in more than forty communities, which have been placed in four different groups – A, B, C and D.

    Power is expected to stabilize by May 17, 2021.
