Haitian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer Francis Leblanc, known professionally as Fridayy, has officially released his highly anticipated album, “Some Days I’m Good, Some Days I’m Not.” Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Fridayy has built a reputation for blending soulful melodies with raw, introspective storytelling, and this project is his most personal and emotional to date.
Taking to social media, Fridayy shared his heart behind the album, writing:
“This piece of work is the most personal to me, I left it all here in detail. The highs & the lows, the good with the bad. Every song has its own meaning. I put my story on front page for yaw because I know it’s people going through the same thing, just in different ways! I know it’s only a few people who can give yaw this type of music, so I don’t take it for granted. That’s why it took so long to make. But I promise yaw this the best music I made in my life.”
Fridayy also revealed that he played a major role in both producing and writing the album, with help from his friends and family. He shared that despite finally reaching success, he experienced one of the biggest losses of his life last year:
“Mainly every song produced by and written by me w the help of my friends and family! I’ve had lows my whole life until these last 3 years, but at the highest part of my life last year, I lost the person that meant the most to me! 🕊️🎈 But I promise you, your name gonna live forever.”
“Some Days I’m Good, Some Days I’m Not“ isn’t just a personal project—it’s also a star-studded album featuring some of the biggest names in the industry. The lineup includes:
🎤 Chris Brown
🎤 Meek Mill
🎤 Kehlani
🎤 Joe Dwet File
🎤 Teni
🎤 Wale
🎤 LLONA
These collaborations add depth, variety, and cross-genre appeal to the project, making it a must-listen for fans of R&B, hip-hop, and soul-infused music.
Fridayy’s ability to turn pain into poetry and loss into powerful music is what makes this album so special. His signature blend of gospel-inspired melodies, hip-hop energy, and emotional lyricism makes “Some Days I’m Good, Some Days I’m Not” an album that speaks to the soul.
With this release, Fridayy proves once again that he is more than just a singer—he is a storyteller, a visionary, and an artist who isn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve.
