The programme is in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

It will cater for school pupils between Basic 1 and Basic 3. The show will include storytelling, games, and other interesting activities to help children improve their reading, writing and imaginative skills.

“It is the Ghana learning radio, the reading program beginning June 15, 2020. Some of your favourite primary school teachers will help you and your child through exciting, interactive and easy to follow radio lessons that will contain stories, interactive games, riddles and humorous characters,” the promotional video says.

“We are planning two sessions of reading for B1 to B3 for your child from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a repeat on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.”
