Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities, have added Maxwell Konadu to their technical staff until the end of the 2020/2021 season.

The Ghana national U-17 head coach has not coached a club side since he parted ways with Asante Kotoko in December 2020.

In a short statement confirming Konadu’s appointment, Cities made no mention of the position of head coach Bashir Hayford, who has been in charge of the team since November last year.

Legon Cities are currently battling relegation and have not won a game in their last four outings and are just two points above the relegation zone.

Konadu is expected to help steer the team into safety with just two games remaining in the league against Elmina Sharks (away) and Eleven Wonders (home).
