Ahead of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Maame Efua Houadjeto, participated in an exclusive Global Affairs Business Mixer that convened international influencers, artificial intelligence experts, and leaders from the global creative industry.

The high-level networking session, organised by Godfather Entertainment in partnership with All We Do Is Work, took place in the build-up to the Grammy Awards and provided a platform for strategic dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas at the intersection of culture, technology, and innovation.

During the session, the GTA CEO held engagements with key industry stakeholders, including AI specialists, entertainment executives, cultural strategists, and global policy advocates. These interactions focused on identifying innovative approaches and global best practices that could be adapted to strengthen Ghana’s tourism and creative sectors.

Maame Efua Houadjeto’s participation highlighted Ghana’s expanding presence on the global stage, showcasing the country’s rich cultural assets and tourism potential while positioning Ghana as a destination for strategic partnerships, cross-border collaboration, and innovation-led growth.

Discussions at the event centred on the application of artificial intelligence in creative and entertainment industries, cultural diplomacy and global storytelling, as well as initiatives aimed at driving social impact and inclusive economic development.

The pre-Grammy networking session reaffirmed that activities surrounding the Grammy Awards extend beyond entertainment to include strategic engagement and thought leadership. The GTA CEO’s involvement enhanced Ghana’s international visibility and reinforced the Authority’s role in connecting African culture with global innovation and technological advancement.

Through such engagements, the Ghana Tourism Authority continues to harness global insights and emerging innovations to deepen the impact of Ghana’s tourism sector and further develop its cultural and creative economy.
