Individuals and organisations making meaningful contributions to communities across Ghana are set to be recognised tonight at the JoyNews Impact Makers Awards at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 7 PM, celebrates people whose work continues to positively impact lives and inspire change in society.
Ahead of the event, some former award recipients reflected on how the recognition helped expand their initiatives and increase their influence.
Founder of the OKV Hope Foundation, Osei Boateng, said the award strengthened support for his humanitarian activities and broadened the reach of his organisation’s work.
Another past recipient, Portia Dumba, also noted that the recognition opened doors to important partnerships that have significantly improved her community-based projects.
The awards ceremony will be broadcast live across JoyNews platforms, allowing audiences nationwide to celebrate stories of compassion, resilience and service.
