Ghanaian rapper Kofi Mole is back in the spotlight, warming up the scene with a deeply personal and culturally rich EP titled “B4 Da Album.” As the title suggests, this 5-track project is a prelude to a forthcoming full-length album set to drop later this year. More than just a teaser, B4 Da Album stands strong on its own, offering a vivid glimpse into Mole’s mindset, growth, and his message to both fans and fellow dreamers.

From cautionary tales to street-smart storytelling and words of encouragement, this EP is a full package — raw, introspective, and highly relatable. Here’s a deeper dive into each track:

    Track 1: Bleoo

The EP kicks off with Bleoo, a track rooted in wisdom and reflection. On this record, Kofi Mole adopts the tone of a big brother speaking to the youth.  Mole uses this song as a cautionary message — reminding young people to pace themselves in life. He emphasizes the importance of staying focused, working hard, and avoiding the distractions that often derail promising journeys. It’s a soulful opener that sets the tone for the rest of the EP.

    Track 2: Alte Party

Switching gears, Alte Party brings a refreshing, lighthearted narrative that taps into everyday Ghanaian life. Mole takes us on a journey to Kantamanto, one of Accra’s busiest thrift markets, where he goes hunting for some affordable but stylish “drip” on a Saturday morning. The urgency? He has a party to attend that same evening. With witty bars and vivid imagery, Kofi Mole paints a picture of fashion, hustle, and fun — showcasing his ability to blend lifestyle and culture into his music effortlessly.

    Track 3: Evergreen

Evergreen is one of the most introspective tracks on the project. Here, Mole opens up about the setbacks and battles he’s had to overcome in his journey. Despite the odds, he declares that he is still standing strong — ever green, ever growing. The record speaks to resilience, self-belief, and legacy. Mole affirms that he fights for his freedom and his future, and no matter what, his story will live on long after he’s gone. It’s a declaration of purpose and an anthem for anyone who’s ever had to rise above their circumstances.

    Track 4: Brodie

On Brodie, Mole delivers a motivational sermon to his fellow dream-chasers. He uses himself as an example, referencing the pain, sacrifices, and lonely nights that come with pursuing success. But there’s light at the end of the tunnel — and Kofi Mole is proof. The song serves as a reminder to his “brodies” that even if the journey gets lonely or discouraging, they must stay focused and keep going. It’s heartfelt, real, and inspiring — making it one of the standout moments on the EP.

    Track 5: No Play

Closing out the EP is No Play, a song that emphasizes patience and divine timing. Mole reflects on how everyone’s life journey is different and how comparison is a thief of joy. He makes a powerful reference to Sarah from the Bible, who gave birth at age 90 — a metaphorical reminder that nothing is impossible and that everyone’s breakthrough comes in its own time. It’s a spiritually uplifting finale that leaves listeners with a sense of hope and reassurance.

B4 Da Album is more than just a warm-up project — it’s a testament to Kofi Mole’s artistic evolution and his unshakeable connection to the streets, the youth, and his culture. The EP blends Afro-rap, trap soul, and storytelling into a seamless body of work that whets the appetite for what’s next. With each track offering a different shade of his personality and journey, Mole proves once again why he remains one of the most compelling voices in Ghanaian hip-hop.

The EP is now available across all major streaming platforms. Get it, stream it, and stay tuned — the album is coming, and if B4 Da Album is anything to go by, it’s going to be something special.
