President John Dramani Mahama has revealed that the Constitutional Review Committee will submit its final report to him on December 22, 2025.

The Committee, led by Professor H. Kwesi Prempah, has been consulting Ghanaians on proposed constitutional reforms. President Mahama, speaking during a meeting with the National Peace Council at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, December 10, noted that the committee had earlier shared some preliminary insights with him three weeks prior.

“They met me three weeks ago and briefed me on some of the recommendations they plan to make. They are quite interesting. The final report will be submitted on December 22, and once I receive it, we will share it with the nation,” he stated.

He also commented on the ongoing debate over the rights of Muslim students in mission schools, stressing the need for faith-based institutions to respect religious diversity. He reminded school authorities that existing agreements already protect these rights and urged them to follow the provisions in their Memorandum of Understanding to ensure all students are treated fairly.
