Malaysia is set to host the AI for Global Leaders (AGL) 2026 programme in Kuala Lumpur from March 26 to 29, 2026, bringing together students, professionals, and young leaders from around the world for an immersive leadership and artificial intelligence forum.
Organised under the AI Global Leaders initiative and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the programme is designed to equip participants with AI-focused leadership skills, practical insights, and global exposure.
A call for applications has been opened, with organisers announcing that the programme will be fully funded for selected participants. The sponsorship package includes round-trip international airfare, four-star accommodation, meals during the forum, and full access to all sessions, workshops, and cultural activities.
Participants will engage in leadership and AI-centred discussions, interactive workshops, and networking sessions, alongside a Kuala Lumpur city tour. Additional benefits include a welcome kit and merchandise, a certificate of participation, as well as visa support letters and on-ground assistance.
The programme is open to all nationalities, with eligibility extended to students, professionals, and young leaders. Organisers state that no IELTS or TOEFL certification is required, and there are no restrictions on academic background.
The organisers note that seats are limited and encourage interested applicants to apply early. The initiative aims to prepare future leaders to leverage artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively in addressing global challenges.
Applications and further details are available through the official platform riseupall.org.
