The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced an upward adjustment in fees for some of its services.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 21, the Authority explained that the review of charges is intended to help maintain and enhance the quality of its service delivery.

According to the NIA, the new fees will affect a range of services, including first-time registration, updates to personal information, replacement of the Ghana Card, changes to nationality status, and registration for non-citizen cards.

The Authority has advised the public to take note of the revised charges as they come into effect, adding that the adjustment is necessary to ensure the sustainability and efficient operation of its services.
