In a collaborative effort to improve healthcare delivery in Ghana, the Rotary Club of Accra-East and the Rotary Club of Elizabethtown, with support from The Rotary Foundation and Rotary District 7390, have donated $95,000 worth of medical equipment to Hopewell Community Clinic in Agbogbloshie.

The Global Grant project is expected to enhance primary healthcare services and improve access to life-saving treatment for over 40,000 residents in the community. The donation included hospital beds, ECG machines, oxygen cylinders, laboratory equipment and a 20kV standby generator to ensure uninterrupted operations at the facility.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, President of the Rotary Club of Accra-East, Mary Elorm Addo, noted that the equipment would support timely diagnosis and safer medical procedures for patients.

Officials from Arm of Hope Ghana and healthcare professionals were present at the event, which also marked the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at strengthening community healthcare systems.
