The Amansie South District branch of the Ghana National Association of Small-Scale Miners (GNASSM) has demonstrated its commitment to education with a generous donation of GHC 50,000 to Manso Adubia Senior High School.

The donation, spearheaded by the District Chairman, Mr. Kwaku Abonee, was to help complete a teacher’s bungalow currently under construction.

The project, when completed, is expected to improve teacher accommodation, boost morale, and enhance overall academic delivery.

Addressing the gathering during the presentation, Mr. Abonee emphasised the association’s broader commitment to community development, particularly in the areas of education and health.

“We believe that making education accessible and attractive is crucial to the future of our district. Government alone cannot do everything, and it is our responsibility to support where we can,” he stated.

Mr. Theophilus Yeboah, Headmaster of the school, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Association for their timely intervention.

He noted that the teachers’ bungalow project was an important facility the school needed, and that the donation would go a long way in ensuring its early completion.

He further appealed to other benevolent organizations, old students, and individuals to come to the school’s aid.

“We still need more support to complete the entire project and other infrastructure needed to create a conducive learning environment,” he added.
