The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, Yusif Sulemana, has performed the sod-cutting ceremony for several infrastructure projects at Bole Senior High School aimed at improving teaching and learning conditions.

The projects, financed by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), include the construction of a modern ICT laboratory, two one-storey dormitory blocks for male and female students, a new assembly hall, and a four-in-one teachers’ bungalow designed to house up to sixteen families.

Speaking at the ceremony on Tuesday, March 10, the MP explained that the developments form part of efforts to upgrade the school to Category A status. He noted that improving infrastructure and providing accommodation for teachers would help retain staff and create a more stable learning environment.

The Headmaster of the school, Abubakari Mahama Salia, assured the MP of the school’s cooperation with contractors to ensure the timely completion of the projects and appealed for additional infrastructure to support future growth.

A student representative, Patience Giyaw, expressed appreciation to the MP and President John Dramani Mahama for the initiative, while also requesting the provision of an ambulance to assist the school in handling emergencies.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Blessing Construction Limited, Osman Hudu, assured stakeholders that the company would deliver quality work within the agreed timeframe.
