Two Ghanaian coaches, Yusif Basigi and Evans Augustine Adotey, have been nominated to participate in a FIFA Coach Educators’ Individual Mentoring programme online.

The two participated in the FIFA Coach Educators’ Course (CEC) programme, in collaboration with CAF, in 2018 and 2019.

Basigi, head coach of the national U-20 female team,  Black Princesses, and Adotey, an assistant coach of the Black Satellites, will use the course to upgrade themselves on the moderns trends of the game.

FIFA is implementing the 2020 edition of the programme as part of the internal capacity-building for Member Associations and the continuous professional development for coach educators globally.

The online individual mentoring programme is being organised for the coaches due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current global situation where football activities are restricted.

The course forms part of FIFA’s commitment to increase the opportunities that exist within football for coaches.
