    2026 World Cup qualifiers: Black Stars set to open camp on September 1

    The Black Stars are gearing up for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali, with the team set to open camp on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

    The squad will train on September 1 and 2 before departing for N’Djamena on Tuesday evening to face Chad on September 4 at Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno.

    After the match, they’ll return to Accra for a recovery session on September 5, which will be open to the media and public.

    The Black Stars will then face Mali on September 8, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

    Ghana aim to maintain its top spot and edge closer to World Cup qualification.

    The team currently tops Group I with 15 points from six matches, having won five and lost one.
