Apostle Dr Eric Emefa-Agbogedenu, Senior Prelate of the Faith City Chapel International has congratulated Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin for his re-election as Speaker of Parliament.

“Mr. Speaker, there’s no doubt that your merit in occupying the speakership office is borne out of divine grace and your passion and commitment to righteousness of leadership and your undying passion for transformational knowledge and care for mother Ghana as if you were the midwife that took delivery of the birth of Ghana.

“Mr. Speaker, my most solemn prayer for you is that you, together with the 275 members of parliament of Ghana will live up the prayer of the house that is always prayed before the house commences business”.

In a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, Apostle Emefa-Agbogedenu likened Speaker Bagbin to Joseph that was sent ahead of time to preserve a posterity for his brethren.

“As you serve your mandate in this four years ahead of you, I decree as an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ that you will preserve a posterity for Ghana in particular and Africa as a whole. May the hand of God preserve and protect you and grant you uncommon wisdom.”
