    Former NPP PC urges Assembly members to confirm Kadjebi DCE nominee

    Mr. Tassah Tapha Tassah, the Akan New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for election 2024, has entreated Assembly members of the Kadjebi District to unanimously approve Dr. Sam Suraj Issaka’s nomination, as the Kadjebi District Chief Executive (DCE).

    He said they needed to “put aside partisan consideration and unanimously approved the President’s nominee for the DCE post”.

    Mr. Tassah, who is an Accra-based Private Legal Practitioner made the appeal via the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the sidelines of the impending confirmation of Dr. Suraj on Wednesday, April 9 in Kadjebi in the Oti Region.

    He said Dr. Suraj’s approval would bring development they have all been yearning for and the district should be paramount to everyone, and not parochial interests.Kadjebi District Assembly members consist of 36 elected and 16 government appointees.

    Dr. Sam Suraj Issaka is a Research Scientist with the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission and is also the Oti Regional Director of Research and Innovation for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).He is also a former Assemblyman for the Mempeasem Electoral Area for two consecutive terms.
