Even as Ghana’s Black Stars narrowly miss out on qualification for the upcoming AFCON, one Ghanaian name continues to keep the nation firmly in the continental spotlight — Stonebwoy.

The global dancehall and Afrobeats star features prominently on the official AFCON tournament anthem titled “Rise Up Africa,” a unifying record celebrating African pride, resilience, and the power of sport and music. While football fans may be disappointed by the Black Stars’ absence, Stonebwoy’s involvement in the anthem ensures Ghana’s presence is still strongly felt on one of Africa’s biggest stages.

Currently making rounds online are behind-the-scenes clips from the official music video, showing Stonebwoy in top form as he delivers his verse with confidence and passion. The visuals capture the energy, professionalism, and star power he brings to the project, further fueling excitement ahead of the anthem’s full release.

Stonebwoy’s appearance on “Rise Up Africa” is not just a personal milestone but also a proud moment for Ghanaian music. It highlights his growing influence beyond national borders and reinforces his position as one of Africa’s most respected musical exports.

As fans react positively to the behind-the-scenes footage, many have praised Stonebwoy for flying the Ghana flag high despite the Black Stars’ AFCON setback. Once again, music proves to be a powerful bridge keeping Ghana connected to the continental celebration even in the absence of its national team.
