A branding expert and author, Bernard Kelvin Clive, has urged Ghanaian CEOs and top executives to pay more attention to their companies’ brand since brand positioning is key to a company’s growth and success.

Reviewing his latest book, ‘CEO Branding’, on the Book Review Show, Bernard Kelivin Clive charged all business owners to get a copy of his book, which he believes is the key to the growth of most Ghanaian-owned business.

“You are championing your own cause and you need to brand yourself properly. People have been doing that but need to do it properly so this content serves as a guide to help people in such positions as leadership, CEOs, top executives to pay attention to their brand and use that as leverage to help their business to grow for both profit and impact,” he suggested.

He added that “For the study that I have done over the past years, I realized that CEOs, top executives, solopreneurs and entrepreneurs are people who position themselves as a good brand to help enhance their businesses”, thus the need to author such a book.

Mr. Clive also motivated his fellow writers to pursue their abandoned writing projects despite the inconvenience caused by COVID-19 since now is the opportune time for one to get back to such abandoned projects.

“It has become a opportune time for people to write books. More people are reading and more people are writing books than before.  So we are looking at the good side of the pandemic, in the sense that it is a great time for authorship, to have books and to get people to devour [their]contents,” Mr. Clive explained.
