The gesture was the company’s effort to help improve on the immunity of police personnel during the fight against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Presenting the items on behalf of the Managing Director of Tiens Ghana, the International Trainer and Advisory Board Member, Mr Ibrahim Asante indicated the gesture was part of the company’s ‘Love Day’ celebration which was celebrated annually.

“This day for the Tiens Group is special, where we show love not only to security personnel but also to almost every facet of society and in this era of COVID-19 management,” he said.

He added that providing such items to the police force was the company’s widow’s mite in ensuring the personnel were enhanced to enable them continue help in the fight against the pandemic.

The Director-General of Welfare, COP Mrs Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah who received the items on behalf of the Ghana Police Service commended the group for their kind gesture.
